I dropped by the Apple store in Lynnwood this afternoon, just to see if they happened to have any new cases or accessories for the iPad. While I was there I overheard two employees talking about the iPad supply at the store. One of them said “Are you telling me we only have one iPad left in this store that is available to buy” to which the other employee said- “yep”. I’m wondering if Apple has really been caught off guard with the demand for these devices? With them holding back on shipping international orders I’m just wondering how many they projected they would need for the first couple weeks?
