I pretty much hate the final few weeks of an election season, simply for the ridiculous (and often repeated far too often) tv spots the various candidates and causes spew forth.
I caught this one for Patty Murray last night- it opens with her at a construction site, heavy equipment in motion just behind her and what appears to be a couple workers. The construction guys are both in normal personal protective equipment (orange vests, hardhats) but Senator Murray looks like she just walked out of Starbucks.
I work in construction and visitors to sites often have to wear a special colored hardhat and or vest to identify them to the crew, visitors are typically unfamiliar with the hazards of the site (such as the caterpillar seen in motion behind the senator who appears to be enjoying a good laugh with the crew.)

Washington State’s DOSH tends to frown upon people wandering job-sites without PPE.
It is worth noting that the employees in the ad that Senator Murray is talking with are wearing “Apollo Inc.” shirts. Apollo is a general contractor that has done millions of dollars of work for the State of Washington.
