Wednesday I had to run to Moxee, WA for a project I was looking at for work. I brought the camera and took a few shots of the trip.

After my meeting I headed west, but jumped off I-90 several times to explore a little bit.

After asking some folks I twitter I was informed this is a wind turbine:

It was a great day for driving, and it was fun to get off the beaten path a bit for some photos.

Did you take the "Canyon Road" (SR 821) between Yakima & Ellensburg?
No, I did the I-82, then jumped off I-90 at Ellensburg and went parallel on the south side. Ended up on the Taneum Canyon road, which was pretty cool, my Garmin 265t keep telling me I could run that all the way back to I-90. After a few miles it told me to "turn right", onto a rutted dirt road that had a lot of switchbacks on it. No way my Escape Hybrid would have made that.
I’ve heard that 821 is a great drive. Next time!
